TESTIMONIALS

“I have enjoyed working as a vendor for many designers over the course of my own design career, but have found Dion to be an especially inspiring collaborator. She personifies the best of both worlds; she’s a talented, innovative designer with an acute eye for practicality and function.

Dion’s business sense and eye for detail assure timeliness and accuracy while her design expertise and sense of style provide a breath of fresh air for every project we work on together.

DW Interior Design projects are always well-conceived and give us a chance to stretch our own design muscle, making them one of Schroll Cabinet’s most valued and trusted clients.”

“Dion's work is amazing! The way she can take different and often competing elements and arrange them into a cohesive, beautiful space is un-surpassed. Having photographed numerous residential and commercial spaces, I'm always thrilled when I get to photograph her interior design work. The challenge is that I could be lost photographing one room for hours, when I only have hours to photograph many rooms. In each room, the lighting design is impeccable, and every place the eye falls is something beautiful – even if it's blank space – creating a visual symphony for the eye to feast on, sometimes in mere nibbles, other times its ravenous bites. The one thing I know is that after I experience one of Dion's spaces I always feel satisfied, complete and more fulfilled than before. Just go to one of her spaces and you'll know what I mean … they make you feel better.

Oh yes, and as a side note, Dion is absolutely wonderful to work with. From my standpoint, she's always been articulate, thoughtful, unassuming and is a great listener, making her incredibly easy to collaborate with and create inspired finished works. It's exceedingly difficult to not keep writing and writing. I suppose I'd say, please just contact her and find out for yourself. I think you'll be delightfully surprised.”

“Dion Williams deserves the highest recommendation for the design plan, design implementation, and complete remodel of my home in Old Town Fort Collins. In just a few months she was able to transform a run-down 103-year-old house into a beautiful and classy residence. Not only did she design the project, but she meticulously oversaw every detail during construction.

Dion has a unique combination of impressive talents, and is most certainly a gifted interior designer. She asked the right questions and listened well to gain an understanding of what I wanted to achieve with the remodel of my home. Dion put countless hours of hard work into the design of every room, thoughtfully reflecting who I am and how each space would be used. She gave extraordinary attention to every detail. She helped me select a general contractor, provided the initial drawings, developed a detailed lighting design, created a paint color legend, and helped me to make all furniture, art, accessory, finish and product selections. She even created several pieces of custom artwork for my home – a personal touch that speaks to her talents and character.

After working with Dion in the interior design phase of the project, I developed tremendous trust in her. In fact, I was able to leave the project in her capable hands while I was living at my primary residence in Texas. She worked very closely and collaboratively with my general contractor to ensure the project was built-out true to her design.

I was amazed when I saw the completed project for the first time. It turned out much better than I could have ever imagined. I am so grateful to Dion for all of the long hours and energy she put into the project. I love my new home and I enjoy sharing it with my friends and family. I plan to work with Dion again in the future, and I unequivocally and enthusiastically recommend her to others.”

“It was a pleasure working with Dion on the remodel of our master bedroom suite containing bedroom, bathroom, office and exercise areas.

We approached Dion about remodeling the top floor of our craftsman’s bungalow style home after seeing her work in a neighboring 1920's era house. She did an excellent job transforming our needs for a sleep/office/exercise space plus bathroom in both an airy, open space while still maintaining a warm, cozy feel. She took the time to offer us several layout options and revise her interior design as time went on to better match our desires, cost requirements, and the structural requirements of our space. Working with her and the contractor she recommended – HighCraft Builders – was truly a pleasure. All were very professional, sharing ideas effectively to work towards an optimal interior design solution. As with any project, as the design implementation unfolded, some issues and minor surprises arose, but were always seamlessly resolved without any finger-pointing or egos. The design was actually completed slightly ahead of schedule and within budget. Aesthetically, it is even more beautiful and comfortable than we initially imagined. We highly recommend Dion, and feel very lucky that she was able to work on our home.”

“We hired Dion Williams of Home Rejuvenate in June of 2007 after having seen her work at the Whedbee house. What struck us immediately at the Whedbee home was the intuitive architectural redesign. The circa 1900 home retained its unique Craftsman elements and turn of the century character while being functional for today’s homeowners with a flowing floor plan and timeless finishes. This was the perfect mix of update and functionality while preserving the historical integrity and character. We knew we wanted to work with the interior designer who could do that!

Our home is a mid-century modern brick ranch. We asked Home Rejuvenate to assist us in updating the main living area comprised of an eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, living room, and foyer. From the very beginning Ms. Williams was an attentive professional. She made us feel like we were her only clients! She strived to help us bring our vision to reality. She listened, responded to our questions and concerns and even went so far as to scrap an initial design after helping us identify and clarify our style. She was open to discussing our ideas and was proactive in solving any challenges we faced during the home remodeling. Without a doubt, the customer service of Ms. Williams was first rate, extremely professional, and courteous. Throughout the project, she worked tirelessly to ensure we kept on budget, met timelines, and was the liaison to subcontractors many of whom she recommended.

The finished product matched the original interior design exactly. We are so pleased with our home and the new design. We wanted our guests to feel comforted and welcomed in the space. Many comment on how warm and inviting the space feels. At our request, a design board was made for us to use in the future when choosing accessories and other furniture. We would and have recommended dwdesigngroup, formerly Home Rejuvenate, to friends and colleagues. Our experience was wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you, dwdesigngroup!”

“Dion has helped me in a number of different ways with her great ideas and endless efforts. Not only would I use her again but I have already recommended her to friends.

Dion … served as a mentor for my daughter’s [interior design] school project. She met with her numerous times, always with great, affordable ideas. We met all the deadlines, the budget and the finished project. She was very easy to work with as well as enjoyable.”

"As a remodel contractor I generally recommend that clients enlist an interior designer as I believe this results in a superior finished product and a smoother, less stressful process. This can be risky for us, however, as designers can often make a contractor's life difficult. We have worked with a number of interior designers over the years and have seen egos get in the way, budgets be blown, and projects become disorganized resulting in an unnecessarily long drawn out process. Not so with Dion. What struck me most when I first met Dion was how comfortable she made me and everyone else feel. She is easy going and pleasant to be around. I haven't met anyone yet who hasn't felt this way. Her passion for what she does is obvious to everyone she meets - whenever someone enjoys their work this much it creates good energy for the project and a great experience for everyone involved.

I have never seen Dion impose her own taste on a clients' house. She listens well and is sensitive to a client's general direction and taste in design. She can take small ideas a client might have and build on those to create a coherent concept. The approach Dion takes to her role is more of an interpreter than a dictator. While Dion clearly has a rare ability to create a vision (perhaps this comes from being an artist first?) she has an even rarer ability to be able to take that vision and communicate it through concrete details that we as builders need to be able to execute a project successfully. This information is always ready when we need it and presented in a very organized way. There are no surprises during the course of a project.

Equally important, she is very sensitive to a client's budget throughout this whole process from the beginning. We have seen budgets double after interior designers became involved but never with Dion. She respects and works with whatever a client's budget is at the outset.

Dion has been a rare find and a joy to work with. We and the client have always enjoyed being a part of bringing her vision together.
